Quirindi is located in the North West Slopes region of Liverpool Plains shire in NSW. Also known as the ”Gateway to the North-West”, Quirindi is just one hour from Tamworth, and four hours from Sydney. This town of just over 2,500 people is a great setting to raise a family, with a number of primary schools in the area, Quirindi high school, as well as the Quirindi campus of the Tamworth Community College.
The town serves as the main hub for the region with many businesses and restaurants, as well as all the other conveniences one would expect from a regional centre of this size. As well as grounds for most major sporting codes, Quirindi also offers polo grounds, a golf course, two tennis clubs, three bowling greens, gun club and swimming complex.
Each September Quirindi comes alive with its annual Springtime Show, featuring a variety of horse handling and jumping events, arts and crafts, food stalls and entertainment, as well as livestock judging and young farmers challenge.
